The Osteopath

Osteopaths are trained to treat many different parts of the body, including the hip. How Osteopaths treat the hip however, strongly correlates to what type of hip compliant you may be suffering from.

Some examples of Hip Pain can include:

  1. Excessive overuse leading to wear and tear to the joint capsule.

It is important to note, although, your Osteopath can not cure such conditions like Osteoarthritis of the Hip joint. They can significantly help elevate some pain through a wide range of techniques.

  2. Deep soft tissue.
  3. Joint manipulation.
  4. Articulation.
  5. Muscle energy techniques.
  6. Dry needling.
  7. Cupping.
  8. Education.
  9. Exercises rehabilitation.

These techniques may be used to improve the mobility and biomechanics of your hip to help improved movement and decreased pain.
